Welcome to Artifare. This Privacy Policy describes how Lojas Software Corp. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with Artifare, our real-time online multiplayer strategy game (the "App").
No Ads. No Tracking.
Artifare contains no advertising and uses no third-party advertising or analytics networks. Because Artifare is an online game, we create a player account and store your game progress on our servers so it is saved and restored across reinstalls and devices. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account data — see "Your Rights & Data Deletion" below to request deletion.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run an online, account-based game.
- Account & Identity: When you first launch the App, we create a player account and assign you a player ID and a username (a handle such as "Human #1234," which you may change). Identity is established either through Apple Game Center — from which we receive only an opaque Game Center player identifier, never your Apple ID, real name, or email — or, if you play as a guest, through a randomly generated token stored securely in your device keychain.
- Gameplay Data: Your trophies, rank, level, experience, match history, factory and unit upgrade choices, and in-game balances (gems, credits, crates) are stored on our servers so your progress persists across devices.
- Purchase Data: When you buy gems or an Artifare Pro subscription, Apple processes the payment. We receive a transaction receipt (a transaction identifier and subscription status) that we verify to deliver your purchase. We never have access to your name, credit card, or billing information.
- Technical Data (Security): Our servers, hosted on Cloudflare, automatically process your device's IP address for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. It is used solely for security and is not used to track you or to determine your location.
2. What We Do Not Collect
To be clear about our minimal approach, Artifare does not include or collect any of the following:
- Advertising, advertising identifiers (such as IDFA), or any third-party ad networks.
- Third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- Your real name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
- Access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location, or health data.
We never sell your personal information, and your data is never used for tracking or advertising.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your player account.
- To save your progress and restore it when you reinstall or switch devices.
- To run online matchmaking and real-time multiplayer matches.
- To display leaderboards and enable friend and friendly-challenge features.
- To validate and deliver In-App Purchases and the Artifare Pro subscription.
- To keep the game fair and secure, including preventing cheating and abuse.
4. Online Multiplayer, Usernames & Friends
Artifare is an online game. Your username, level, trophies, and Pro status are visible to other players on global leaderboards and within matches. You may add friends by username and start private matches with them.
The App does not include open text or voice chat. Usernames are filtered for profanity and personal information; please choose a username that does not reveal personal details about you.
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Artifare offers consumable gem packs and Artifare Pro, an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in App Store > Account > Subscriptions. All payments are handled by Apple via StoreKit.
6. Data Storage, Retention & Security
Account and gameplay data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We retain your data for as long as your account remains active so your progress is preserved. Because your progress lives on our servers rather than only on your device, deleting the App does not by itself delete your account.
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You may request a copy or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing us at contact@lojassoftware.ca with your username or player ID. Upon a verified request, we will delete your account and associated game data.
8. Children's Privacy
Artifare is rated 9+ and intended for general audiences. Because it includes online multiplayer and social features, it is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Third-Party Services
- Apple Game Center & StoreKit: Used for optional sign-in, leaderboards, and purchases, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare: Provides the server infrastructure that hosts the game's online services.
We do not share your data with any advertising or analytics partners.
